    Those are awful nice for a beginner. I still can't tie one that nice.

    Looking good, gotta learn how to keep your eyes clean though. Something that took me forever to fully master but am so glad I took the time to learn how.

    Really good job for a beginner! Also yes try to make sure your eyes are open before you tie them. Some use their hemostats, but I don't like having to clean them so I use wood tooth picks and some I even sharpen more so they will clean out the eye right after dipping the head in paint and I clean the tooth pick and eye with my thumb nail, but that is just me. If by chance one still gets by and closes while in the oven curing and then I use my bodkin heated to melt the paint out of that eye just before I tie it.
