Don't want to come across like a slacker. I could just guess but I thought I'd ask, since we are on the same page.
I live in the Mississippi delta . Bout 30 miles from Grenada lake. I'm gonna tie some 1/4oz ball head jigs.
What materials do I need to buy to make some productive jigs? Can you suggest a pattern?
I'm gonna buy my materials from crazy angler. Thought instead of wasting money and time fooling around I'd see what you fellas think.

What part of the Delta you from I am from Webb.
Down Greenwood?
I think the easiest to get started with would be Marabou tail and a chenille body.
Depending on the depth and current 1/4 oz may be a little bit big, but I am not familiar with that area as I live in Oklahoma.

I'm gonna go with the marabou and chenille like the other guys. Gonna agree with Bobo on the head size, you need to drop down to 1/8 that's all I use at Grenada.
