    Default Pre-Inspiration!

I painted a dozen Ultra Minnow heads about 5-6 months ago in a very popular (to me anyway) combination. I then tied a few in my favorite pattern & stuck them in my jig box. Last week I saw this by Adam (Micropterus salmoides) Attachment 142216 so I dug up the painted heads & tied up a few more. Here's one

You know it's mine too Skip! That's not my best blue chenille but one of those foot long samples you sent me & I figured I needed to use them up. This is my best Blue!

Kind of thought that looked like Blue and Gold.

Good lookin jig! Mr G put me on a blue/ chrt kick when he taught me but I only really have success in the pits with it. It's never too good in the river.

I kill the crappie every spring with the little Roadrunners in Chart/Blue/Chart, they just can't seem to leave it alone. Once our water clears some then a little change is good. The river here is way out in the middle of the lake so really we just fish creeks, flats and such, but do have a lot of good creeks.
