Hey Guys...I am new to this whole thing, it was too windy to get on the water Monday (my day off each week) so I had the wild idea to go buy some things to start tying my own jigs. Needless to say, I'm hooked now. I stumbled across the forum while trying to find some ideas and look at what other folks are tying and I am thoroughly impressed with the stuff you guys do, very cool and way above my head at this point. I look forward to seeing more of what everyone is tying and hopefully learn a few things in the process. I apologize in advance for all of the questions I'll be asking. Awesome site and I'm glad I found it.
Howdy. Glad to have you here!
Welcome to the site and board as well as the hobby, maybe one of the best hobbies there is, but a super addicting one. Join in and enjoy.
Welcome to the hobby. Please leave your check book at the door or you will become broke like the rest of us. LOL Seriously it is a great hobby.

Welcome to the sight from Louisiana. I don't tie, just buy and there are some awesome jig makers on this sight.

Welcome from East Texas. This is a great place to hang out.
It's been fun so far and not terribly expensive yet. I spent about $80 to get started on Monday so I think that's pretty reasonable. Oh yeah, then there was the order I put in yesterday at Crazy Angler to get more stuff since I went on there to look for more jig heads but found some other stuff I thought I needed, I blame you all for that. Oh, then there's the wish list I have going there also that probably won't be a wish for much longer. I guess I can see how it gets out of hand. Sadly, my wife is pretty happy I'm looking at jig tying materials over my supplies for my other winter hobby. Goose decoys are expensive compared to this stuff. Appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to learning from you all.
Welcome aboard, glad you found us.
