great video and a new style for me, tying on a tube. I could take her classes for a while without tiring.

I have often thought I would like to tie tube flies as well. I do or have used dubbing loops though. Nice job by her!

She is tying a tube fly which has become popular over the last few years and most vise makers have either come out with a new vise for this type fly or a new jaw for it. It's a way to make a longer fly than the hook length.

she made a dubbing loop to place the hair in and then got it spinning to tighten the thread around that hair until she could wrap it like she did. There are several different methods to do dubbing and a loop is one.

hope this his works as this is another great tyer and showing a different way to do the same basic thing. Marc Petitjean makes tools and also lots of videos on the internet.
