I know locally I can buy lead for around 70 cents to a dollar a pound depending on what scrap yard I go to. I would think that you would have to beat that price to avoid the cost of shipping. If you were closer I would buy it from you.

I've got a good size piece of hospital lead (maybe 100 lbs). I'm thinking about selling it because I won't EVER use it all. Does anyone know how much I should ask for it?Thanks for the help!

As Bobo said you'll have to beat the yard costs plus figure in shipping costs. One plus you'll have if you do it is smelt it all down, flux it and pour into 1 lb. bars or close to it. They'll fit in flat rate box's better that way. Wish I lived closer too!!
Post what extra you have in the KY state board and it'll probably be gone quick!!!
I will take it John. Be at camp Sat. if you want to bring it. PM sent!
