Default O the smell of fresh painted cranks

Been a while since I painted any cranks but since I'm out of one of my favorites I painted 6 for the next trip. They just need the hooks attached back on once the epoxy dries and will be ready for the water.
This is a custom color I mix. It will be purple and or blue as the light hits it at different angles.

Those look great Ronnie. I haven't painted any cranks this year. I've been trying to stockpile jigs to have enough for the bait shops this next spring. Are those unfinished crankbaits you're painting? I've had trouble finding unfinished baits that will run true. Jann's has some great looking baits, almost like Bandits, but in the water they roll like a hooked catfish.

    Thanks guys for your comments

Cray and Scott, some are BPS and the other two are Strike Kings. I buy name brand when I find them on sale in off colors and sand them down for repainting. I have tried a few of the no bands that some sell but they just don't run right for me. A lot of the time you can get the good ones for $2 or so.

Bob, I been painting my own cranks for a good many years but I don't sell any. To much work goes into them but I will send you a few the next time I'm painting some.
