Thanks Bob, that top one is one of my big spring time colors and so is the bottom one just a different kind of FL Blue body than what I have been using for a good while. I have to say that I actually believe that top color attracts bigger fish. I know what sounds crazy, but that combo just seems to bring some bigger fish in.

Hey Skip,

What type of jig/hook are you using for these jigs. I noticed the horizontal, maybe 45 or 60 degree eyes. I much prefer these type of hooks in my jigs. Where might one purchase them??

Sorry, I promised that I wouldn't tell where I got them, they are not something he likes making. However I can tell you it's a fly hook and that part is easy to find. You can always just but the hooks and some beads, maybe in tungsten to make them a bit heavier.

I like them as well though. I do plan on using some better hooks to get more a little heavier. I like Daichi hooks a good bit and have a good place to buy them, but probably would like a few other brands as well. I think this one is a Mustad and I am not a big fan of them since you have to sharpen these.
