Sounds god Bob, I appreciate that. I was trying to get that done using my spinner baits and quickly decided to hold off until I was better with that thing.

no problems We used to make up a lot of salmon and steelhead spinners I may even pain up a few blades and post them as rainbow was a favorite of the salmon fisherman here in Oregon don't know how they would work on walleye or anything else but they are super bright in the water we did some up the other day for a guy in Washington state we use powder paint and put them in the oven and killed them they come out diamond hard and they look terrific.
Skip - what wire bender you have?? I have the old Netcraft (no Janns) and the Worth Hand wire former. Would love to get a new one but these do everything I need them to do.
What type of eye are you trying to make? Depending on what you're doing I may be able to bend and take some pics to help you out.
I have the Hagen's Pro Wire Former. I have only tried it a few time in the over 1 year I have had it, LOL!
I used to use a wire former but I don't anymore I used junior players which are around on the nose of both sides so you could wrap the wire and make a loop little hairy to get used to but they were a lot faster for me to use.
I have the Hagen's tool also.
It is excellent and easy to use.
Makes very repeatable loop twists.
Lot of scratch not to play with a former like that!!!!!!!!
Yes and I need to take the time to get better with it. Shame on me for sure!!!
