I did this video in 2010 thinking about making a bigger one, but never went past this test video and I know some here have seen this before, but some have not and I was thinking some may want to see a jig tied on a Nor-Vise. It has a lot more features than I show here, but at least you can see how much it help just doing your thread base. It only takes just a tad over 1 minute to view it.

Skip I think that I was one of the first people to see this as you sent it to me right after you made it. Think that you found your next calling. I had that one saved to the hard drive one my shop computer. Just checked. Two thumbs up.

Wow, and thanks for posting the video. I looked at the other two that I could find of yours also. What type of vice was that? Very cool indeed. Thanks, Bobo
Thant is a Nor-Vise. It has a lot of great things about it, but it's different. Some actually don't like it, but ones that do really like them. Only hang up is the something like $300 and that is not counting all the auto bobbins and different jaws for it. One can get a lot tied up in a vise. I have about every jaw he makes and several auto bobbins and a bunch of the spare spools for the auto bobbins. There is a lot to the whole thing. It has a post and not just a wire bobbin holder like most vises do. You should probably look at the videos for a Nor and see for your self. I have had mine for a pretty long time now.
very nice vidoe u should make more
Great video Skip. I have always liked black and chartreuse jigs. Nice vice too.
