I bought some crosscut rabbit from them. Reasonable prices and a great selection. A little slow on delivery but I'm kinda spoiled by Crazy Angler's 1-2 day turn around.

Pepop You are only about 20 miles from him. If I lived that close I would just deposit my all my money in Roberts bank account. Would save him time and money to deposit my checks. AS if that mattered I only live 75 miles from him. If I need it bad enough I just take a road trip.

I know of both pretty well. JS is pretty good place. Crazy Angler is probably better on price. Just my 2 cents.

JS has a lot of materials but the shipping is to slow and they don't tell you about back orders until you have ordered. I'm not happy with there costumer service either. Made an order last month and still waiting on a back order product. One product I ordered (a $20 product) was replaced with a $2 product. Called them and was told they would send it out along with my back order? If I had know the product was on back order I would have placed my order elsewhere. Just beware of slow service if you are depending on receiving materials to fill an order.

JS is good but hate the shipping times!! Another good one is The Hook & Hackle Company . They used to based out of Plattsburgh, NY and when I was stationed there, I just went in and picked up my stuff. He retired and sold it and the company moved to PA.

I always call my order in as they're pretty good about knowing if stuff will be back ordered or not.

Doug JS has a back-order list on their feathers so I went with a color that would work and that was listed in-stock. I have made other orders from them that I didn't need fast and received the orders with no problems and their whole hide zonkers are very nice with a great price. I order a lot from Barlows also and they take care of their regular costumers but sometimes you have to order from different places to be able to get all the materials you need. Heck you know how it is, I think all the company's out there has some of our money at one time or another .

I have ordered quite a bit from ZONKERS you have to be a little careful sometimes they will sing you a grade off of were it regionally what I mean sometimes the feathers will be pretty chewed up and sometimes they are a size bigger than you normally want it but we've had no problem with them they are very sufficient about their business they are very good about if there is a mistake they definitely will replace it all the comments are very interesting in helpful to a lot of people I have to agree that crazy angler or Robert is very fast with his shipping he is a top-notch supplier of materials and most of the stuff that we are using we can get it through him but some of the stuff that I do need by order by the pound in large quantities so I use a variety of suppliers.
