    Default Mylar Minnow

This one came straight out of the new Fly Tyer magazine!! Gonna have to get some closouser eyes to make it heavy enough for the spinning rod, as putting a set of eyes behind a jig head looks really dumb!!!

The inner wrap is the core material of the mylar. You tie the eyes on
wrap a piece of the inner core for each side of the fly and tie at the tail -
Mylar lays flat over the top and the ends teased out for the tail.

These are gonna be a nice addition to my fly box!! and they're easy to tie!!

nice! i came upon this same design few weeks ago and tied some up myself.mine i made with black plastic lace material.i tied some on jigheads as well as flies.i used chenille for the filler part.i been experimenting with tiny propellars too.maybe this design with a propellar incorporated would be interesting...im gonna tie one up on a jighead before i forget lol

Very nice work. Good addition to anyone's box but mine. My box needs more time to fish. Hard to find time to use what I have. I remember bench time........
