    Default Sharing among friends

I had a tournament to be in today, but it was postponed on some anticipated bad weather that never came. I've been trying to get together with a new MTCC member who ties flies and wanted some pointers on tying jigs. I thought that today would be a great time to keep warm and get things done. Tom(Slabbacks) and Todd(TennTodd) came over and we sat around the table talking fishing and techniques and generally enjoying the time. Tied a few for the box myself in the brown/tan patterns that have been working for me lately, and we got into a few Mallard Flanks. The pic with 3 jigs are Tom's and the others were mine. I had some tied already when they arrived. Tom worked last night and had to be to work again at 10 tonight so at noon I threw some filets in the pan, all seasoned up and put Todd to work dicing tomatoes and onions, and in just a few minutes we were having Crappie Taco's. A little visiting afterwards and they headed on with their day, just about 1pm. A good visit with good friends, look forward to the next time. Thanks for coming over guys.......Skeet

It's hard to beat spending some times with friends that enjoy the same things as you do. Thanks for sharing about your day and congrats on getting to share the day with them.

Had a great time. Always good to talk about fishing and eat fish at the same time.

Sounds enjoyable! I went Friday evening over to the Louisiana side as they were having a gathering of a bunch of CDC members since they invited me over. They had a nose spread of food set out and a good time was had by everyone I think. I took my wife and she enjoyed it too so I was happy about that. Just a great bunch of Louisiana guys there and sure would go again. Couldn't find nicer people than them either!

I wish more guys that ty lived close enough to get together like y'all did, that would be fun.
