I had some scrap pieces of chenille left over and instead of throwing them away, I tried to figure out what I could do with them. I decided to take 2 different colors and twist them together. The result was nice. Tied a few good looking jigs that way.

The sky is the limit when it comes to tying. They look good. I've been tying them that way also. You can use any color combo. They will catch em.

If you look at all the fly and jig tyers there is now it would be hard to fine something that no one has done before. I mean every one in a while someone with come up with something like the tube flies. Don't know when they were first tied, but don't think it's been around very long as far as fly tying goes.

You guys need to check out so trout fly thing pages. There are some weaves used to make braided stone fly patterns. They would work great for what your trying to accomplish.

The jigs look good. Don't throw anything away, you will find a use for about everything a some point in your tying.
