    Default Crappie Jigs NEW colors


    Hey Guys CrappieDale here i went over to Lavon by the 380 bridge on some standing timber and we got into a mess of crappies ive been field testing the color blk contrast with ht/pnk and man does it help bring results.

    Take a look!



    I also have been debating on a change on were to get rid of a ol favorite thats ben around before i had diapers



    Oh well it catches fish guess i better keep it!

    Man those look great. Very simple, but great color combos and good, clean craftsmanship.

    I'm gonna have to try some of that hackle for tails. I usually just use marabou or some duck flank feathers.

    Guess I am gonna have to get my powder paint out and do some bright pink heads. Can't get any other piant to work. Jigs look good CrappieDale, I need to make some for myself.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    Black and hot pink are a great combo here in Arkansas. I take it's the same way where Crappie Dale is in Texas. Except I normally see the colors reversed. Black head and body with a pink tail.

    Pink heads work for other species too. I like a Hagen's Crystallina glitter top coat for a bit of sparkle. Pictured is the violet. The sparkle shifts and dances with movement.
