Hey guys!

I feel sort of foolish asking these questions but this thing occurring does bother me each time I tie a jig. I use one of the small glue dispensers with the extended aluminum tube from the top of it when I seal the threads on my ties. What bugs me about it is the glue/sealant usually (99% of the time?) will not stop coming out of the tube until I replace the metal pin back in the tube, even when the dispenser is upright. I hate wasting the glue and the consequent mess it makes if I don't get the metal pin back in place to stop the flow in time and even then I have to wipe the glue from the tube.

Does this happen to everyone using this type of dispenser or am I just a really lucky guy? Is there a way to prevent this from happening or do I just need to accept it?

Thanks in advance for your input. - dan
