Hey guys!
I feel sort of foolish asking these questions but this thing occurring does bother me each time I tie a jig. I use one of the small glue dispensers with the extended aluminum tube from the top of it when I seal the threads on my ties. What bugs me about it is the glue/sealant usually (99% of the time?) will not stop coming out of the tube until I replace the metal pin back in the tube, even when the dispenser is upright. I hate wasting the glue and the consequent mess it makes if I don't get the metal pin back in place to stop the flow in time and even then I have to wipe the glue from the tube.
Does this happen to everyone using this type of dispenser or am I just a really lucky guy? Is there a way to prevent this from happening or do I just need to accept it?
Thanks in advance for your input. - dan
I only fish on days of the week that end with
a "Y" ...and then, only if it's raining or not.

That sometimes happen if it's really full, but after mine goes down a little and has a little air on top it quits, also I tap the bottom of the bottle on my table after each use before I put it back down.
I use a glue with a brush.
mine does the same thing and is over half empty ........ oh I have the same bottle as in the pic
when my bottle was new i did not have this trouble I get in a hurry at the end of a tie with glueing and clean up for the next tie lol
I use a bottle that is not round but more flat or oval shape. It also has a green cap/tip. It only does that if over 80% full or so.
Mine is less than 1/4 full and still leaks. :-(
