Short grub that one is Barred Mallared flank dyed yellow...I use it in float-n-fly jigs stuck on that one and like how it looked!

Got some float and fly coming up in the near future, thanks for the ideas. The bodies look like craft fur, am I right? Nice looking jigs, especially the minnow heads.

I don't use craft fur much, but I do know a very successful guide on Toledo Bend and that is about all he uses. First pattern he told me about was the regular craft fur in the Black that turned Silver as it goes out and that stuff will definitely catch crappie. I could probably get along with it better now that I don't just keep my jigs in a regular plano box and can keep them separate, but when I did keep them of the same color in a little square box compartment they would get all hung up together. Use to make me crazy.

Almost forgot, good job on the jigs!
