My own Aero type ties

I finally took a picture of ones I tied before they vanished. Somehow the others disappeared within an hour of tying them, 3 times so I took this picture right when I was done.

It is hard to tie in more than 1 hackle but not impossible. The red has 2 hackle and the black has a black, purple and red hackle.

I like using good chenille instead of vernille, it seems to make the hackle more evenly distributed and twists much better without much worry about it trying to unravel.

I really like the dark ones. It is really buggy looking and I think it will be very effective on steelhead. I bet bass would hit as well as crappie, although crappie might want a smaller size.
