    Besides tying today I broke out the wire and made up a whole bunch of V-spinners

    Those look mighty good. Have always thought of using them on salmon but I doubt they would hold up to 15-40# fish and hard runs.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.
