Well I have got some skirt material in and have thought about this for a long time so plan is to add the option of having feathers and skirt or just skirt. What do you think about this? I know some guys use this tactic so thought I would try these too. Really can't wait to get out and try them. Even thinking about adding some soft plastics to the site.

Love it skip.Thumbs Up That top one would rip a new on those fish here from some lightly stained waters.![]()
Glad to hear that. For some reason I just have procrastinated this for a long time. I thought of doing this from the first year I started tying and just never did it. I have not got to fish them yet, but sent a few out to a guide friend to try and hoe to tie one on my self soon.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Hey Skip,
I really like the feather and skirt combo. They fish very nice and is the best of both worlds. You get profile and action in one jig. I have watched you over the years and you have some relly nice jigs. Hope you get out and catch some fish on them!

Thanks guys it helps to know so many like the combination of feathers and skirt! I have just never knew it was this popular or I would have added this a long time ago.
Thanks again for the comments!
Jackie that article about me was a real surprise even after the guy called me. He said he was doing an article, but I thought it was about lots of guys that make jigs and stuff and never realized it was just about me, LOL!

Really nice ties!!!! Should have no problem catching the fish on those. When I use it I like to put a little thread bump to help keep them out from the body.
That's a good idea Fatman and I am thinking maybe I can also utilize some of my UV glue to build it up a bit faster and easier. Have you tried any of that stuff? It's very cool and sets fast with a UV light.
