Size: 32.8 KB I found these on a google search and I'm thinking about making my wife a couple of pair but not sure what the wire in between the blade and hook is or what it's called

Just make sure what goes in her ear is the good kind of metal and not some cheap stuff that will turn her ear green. There are some good hooks that are not too costly, like silver. I don't know what is in-between that you ask about, but that I think is not as important! Ask Redman he knows jewlery!

Josh, go to hobby lobby or some craft store. They have the loops and the straight wire those are made from. Just made my daughter a pair with gold willow leaf blades this past weekend. I didn't use the wire just slid blade onto loop.

They should come with a label stating:
WARNING these ear rings should not be worn near water

ya her ear are really sensitive so she has to have the surgical steel and our anniversary is coming up here in a month or two so I figured it would be a little something different

Josh ... we got some spinner blade earrings with a Crappie decal ... from the Jiffy Jigs folks ... and gave them out as prizes to the ladies during our Slabfeast on Green River Lake, this past Spring. You might check out their website & see what they've got (unless you're wanting to "make" them yourself). I don't know if the website shows the ones with the Crappie on them, so if you're interested in those you'll have to call them (ask for Belinda & talk to her about what they're made with, as far as metals)

My daughter started making earrings like this after an old woman at a fishing show I was set up at gave her one of hers. She's 10 now and just got done making 20 plus pairs. She's sold 4 with others wanting some. It's exciting for her. She's all about going to the fishing shows with me this fall....
