Default I just joined this wild and crazy world of tying crappie jigs!

I finally decided to invest in materials/tools to start tying some crappie jigs. Compleely new to the game, and tryin gto learn what I can. Gonna check out the jig swap section, and going to try to learn as much as possible.

I know this is the best place to learn with so many great people on the site. I am thankful for the motivation I've gotten from seeing some of the amazing jigs you all produce!

It's fun relaxing and gets easier the more you do it... Try to match the hatch so to speak with colors that work well in your area, helps keep cost of materials down if just starting out...

Welcome RB from Kentucky. A lot of fantastic tiers on here. Here is the link for some pics to copy. Good way to learn is copying other folks stuff. Please ask questions but you can find a lot of stuff in the search function! Have fun and watch your art improve! Join one of the jig swaps and you will get to see some great jigs up close.

Rockbass and also Shefishestoo Welcome from Alabama. Enjoy the hobby and catch some fish on the jigs you create. That is one awesome feeling.
