Default we tied up a few jigs.

we were just messing around today and thought it was too hot to do anything outside so we wrapped up a few jigs I think I am a little bit out of whack here I need to tie up about a few hundred more to get me back in shape.

we have used skirt material for many years I you only use it now and then but it definitely puts more action into the jig I started using it when we only had what we call living rubber now there is silicone material and of course a wide selection of colors we have over 50 some different colors on hand and there are still many more that they have come up with it just like buying Chanel anymore you buy one or two that you're wanting in a Five more new ones we used the use of Bullhead and tie off right behind the hit with marabou in the with silicone or what ever material that I would have such an away is rubber we used to use rubber bands years ago nobody ever thought about that one back over 40 years ago as we started using that in high school okay so my been little over 40 years but we were all the time experimenting with different materials when I was a kid is we did not have all the money in the world is I would have to collect pop bottles and do odd jobs to make a few dollars to buy my materials we definitely did not have all the widest selection of jig heads is most of them were ball head or roundhead in we only had a few marabou colors to pick from like black yellow white and red is just about all that I can remember back in the early 60s do any of you guys remember some of the first marabou jigs you ever seen and how far back did you see them we used to get materials from herders man those were the days that was like the holy Bible to me but using silicone in living rubber is up then each over other jigs you just have that much more action in if you seeing living rubber in the water you will know why that I use it it has a tongue of action very little movement will send that stuff crazy.

thanks bob i put 4 strands of rubber in each jig i tie, like you i think it adds to the action of a jig specially when you single pole a jig ,that flutter on the way down triggers strikes in my opinion .keep up the good work and thanks
