Default Fooling around with living rubber from Snake River

I played around with the living rubber material last night that Snake River sent me. It is unbreakable and very stretchy. When you tie it on the jighead it looks like a lot of little legs hanging off it. I made myself up about 20 of them for Bream fishing. Went out this morning and caught about 25 of them on the lure. You get an A+ in my book for sending the material. Here is a photo of the lure. Combination colors chartreuse, white and scale flash.

Thanks again for the material Bob.

They look good Ship! Nice work!

I have 3 different kinds of materials I have been thinking of doing something similar to this, actually did some a few months back, but have not got back to it yet. One is actually called a dubbing and you can mix it with regular dubbing to ad legs all over. Another is life flex and still another was the stuff I use as tail material in some of the flies I posted called Dandy Long Legs which I think should be awesome too.

    Good jib,

Thanks Skip. Injecting pink tails now 3/4 inch. We will see what happens tomorrow when I attach them to it.

Those look real good Ship. I have used several different types of rubber for tails and such. Tying some to an Aberdeen for the second hook on the rig works well too. The neavier round spinnerbait material makes a more rigid and very durable tail. 3 strands on a 1/32 or 1/64 and a bit of small chenille makes a bluegills nightmare, and the crappie like it fine too. It's fun fooling with new material.

I really like living rubber, makes everything seem alive with even the slightest twitch.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

I just got through beefing them up with tails I just injected. They make a nice presentation now.
