First catches on my first hand-ties!

I finally had an opportunity to try out my new jigs. Just fishing from the dock because I didn't have time to rig up a boat.

Didn't get any crappie 'cause I don't think they were in the neighborhood. But I got two large mouth bass and one northern pike. All on a black and chartreuse with a swivel blade (like a roadrunner, but not a roadrunner ).

Not the most productive hour of fishing ever...but catching something on your own ties is very satisfying. Thanks to everyone on this forum for all the help and encouragement.

It's fun to catch em on stuff you made. Even better when you're in a boat with others and you're catching and others aren't, and the extortion begins to get you to give some up so they can catch fish. I give em out regularly, but it's fun to make em wonder.
