I was watching Bill Dance Outdoors this weekend, and he was using a Lindy Jig Spinner set up with a tubed jig. It was quite interesting as he was catching fish while casting towards stump piles... He would cast out about 15 - 20 yards and let it sink for 5 seconds, jig up and then reel in a couple cranks. I know that most of these lakes he fishs on, are prime spots! Come on! It's Bill Dance! My question is... Can this rig be used effectively for drifting or simple jigging? I purchased some this weekend for my trip to Reelfoot with anticipation of using it while drifting... Maybe as a quick exchanger for the jigs I've tied... Do you think it's a good idea? Here's a jig I've recently tied up! 1/16 oz. Red/Chart/Chart with a Lindy Spinner...
