Default Anybody seen or know Pup

Seems like he's been inactive for a while. I really like those craft fur jigs he used to tie. Real old school and basic, but solid style and colors he'd post occasionally. Would love to see what some of that craft fur looks like wet or in the water. Anybody have any photos? I think he used Darice, but seems like some of the other brands would stick or not really give a lot of movement in the water. Sure wish he was around to post some more of those. His thread neck jigs look like they'd be killer for a thread neck style I use shooting docks. Simple and effective.

TreednNC FYI there is a Blog that Pup has and here is the link Pup's Jig Works Pup has in his blog a bunch of pictures and descriptions of the jigs that he ties. A lot of good info and ideas he is a true gem in the field of thread necks and craft fur. Take a look at his Jack Crawford style jigs. It is a true work of art.

I know a lot of people dont like the thread necks, and in itsself, it's the most basic, simple jig a man could tie, but shooting docks, I love them. Seems like I get more of an umbrella, poofier shape with them. Sure I tie a lot of chenille body jigs, but that last few years Ive tied more thread neck jigs and used them more and really enjoy them. Some reason or another, and maybe it's just the inner frugileness (if thats a word lol) coming out of me from having 4 kids, but I seem to be getting back to the basics in a lot of stuff, and jigs is one of them.

    Thanks for the link Redman!
