    How do yall hide the thread when finishing the jig? I can still see my thread after i do the whip finish and i really don't like the way it looks.

    Wrap you chenille up against the head better and when you finish it should hide it self.

    Try flat wax thread. It allows you to really pull the thread once you finish and by it stretching a little in buries under the chenille.

    Yes wax, I am kind of on auto when it some to thread so didn't include that, but for a new guy he probably needs to know that. Good job!

    Switch to monofilament thread unless you are making a thread neck. It's clear, so the color shows through. It's easier to hide, and makes out stop you don't need as many colors. Plus it's cheap. You can buy a 400 yard spool at fabric stores for less than $3. Wonderful stuff.
