Redman sent me a few 1/24 jig heads and some paint to get started. Painted up a few this week and then tied this one up. Didn't have any paint so I let it eyeless.

Im not really sure what the head is called or the color. Hoprefully Redman will chim in and let us know. It is kind of a mustard color PP. I wish I had an olive hackle but only had Black so I mixed it with a peacock herrel.

Tracker you did good. Nicely done. Yes that powder paint is a yellow from Harbor Freight. It was not what I wanted so I have been gifting a bunch of it to the young tiers. A goo way to get some of if in to hands that need practice. Looks like Tracker don't need much as it looks like he did good with his paint job, Those heads are from a mold that I made 40 years ago. in the 1970's. We made it for yellow perch jigs but now without any yellow perch to fish I have been using it for crappies. As It is a 1/24 oz. every one likes it as it seems to be the Holy Grail size jig head. At the time it was made we were just looking for a jig head that would get down to 30 feet with a small profile. That one is the one we came up with. Nothing special but sure does make a nice jig.

Grabbed some of those heads in the 3rd round of the swap box and I put them in a box and now I can't find them but still got more looking to do.

Way cool Redman, that's the way we get folks started. Good job on the tie Tracker. The palmer looks real good. I tie a lot on bare lead heads, and most of my painted jigs don't have eyes. Less is more? It works for me.

Fatman think that I thur some in with the care package that I sent you. So you got more now.Lols Don't feel bad as I have material and jig heads every where and some times its a mad scramble to find the material that I need for a jig that I am in the middle of tying.
