Contacting do-it is a waste of time they treat you like you're stupid....i talked to them the other day and he just kinda laughed and said it takes about 10 grand to get a mold into production and we're not looking to expand our lineup at this time thanks for your intrest is there anything else i can help you with????
Seriously who do they think they're kidding. They have them all programmed and they could easily take parts and create a new mold if they REALLY wanted to. It's like they're turning business away.
For what it would cost, I would think buying a new mold would be cheaper, plus you still have the 1/32 oz. but you could check with a tool and die shop around town. Used to work in one, and we done stuff like that every little bit, but @ $40+ an hour, it ain't gonna be cheap.
