Default 1/32 Single weedless jig head mold

I used a barbed 1/32 weedless jig a lot. And the local tackle shop usually has them. But here lately they have been getting harder and harder to come by. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy a mold at so I can just make them myself.

I have looked on there website and they have weed guards that are multiple strands, I am wanting one with a single strand. Or can you just put one strand of mono in the weed guard slot and poor it and it work?

I have one that takes the multiple strands, and I made one to take a single strand. both work well. on the multi strands I take fingernail clippers and cut off all but three strands before I use them. if you try to pour with a single mono in the multi strand mold the lead will seep around the mono unless you use very heavy mono.

Thanks for the info! Now on the stands for the weed guard which thickness do you use? Also can you use sickle hooks on the do-it ones? On the website it just says eagle claw. But I have been searching around and some of the websites say sickle hooks work with some of the molds.

For Single strand it is best to get the mold you want in a non weedless model and modify the mold to except only a single strand

so pretty much take a dremmel tool and make a channel for the mono to go into before pooring the lead in? One more question about it. would you just buy mono and cut it to the size that you want then put it in the mold, or can you buy the weed guard?

Yes on cuttin a groove ..
If you want Mono .. cut the size U need
Also consider using braided wire leader material .. coated or un coated.
