Default 2" Or 3" Fluid Bed Cups??

I'm going tomorrow and try to get the stuff to build my own fluid bed. I was wondering if you guys like the 2" or 3" cups better? Also what are some good things to use as filter or air diffuser?

Just personal preference, but I use the 3" and do have a few 2", but don't feel they preform as well for me. I probably have a good many over 40 cups and maybe as many as 50???
I also buy my paints by the pound though.

Some use the home made systems and I really can't speak to their size and if 2" or 3" even make a difference as I only use the ones you buy. Tried a few home made ones, but just like the bought units better.

Thanks doc....i make both 2 and 3 inch and i find mtself using the 2" more, the cups are made with a plactic fluidizing material thats permanatly glued into the cup and are fully self contained so when you're done all you have to do is put the cap on it and grab your next color and go.

You also can check the sticky thread at the top on this board for where different guys buy their items. busman's look to be competitive although I have never tried them as I didn't know he sold them so not sure of his product, but seems to have a good following. I am Pretty sure all of the ones you buy have the same membrane in the bottom unless busman uses something different. That stuff it the big difference in home made and bought and what makes the bought ones better IMHO.

Hey if I get to needing some more I will give you a shout. I will not say I will not need any more because I have thought that about 5 times only to sooner or later seem to end up needing 5 to 10 more cups, LOL! I at first had maybe 15 and though I will never need any more. What a joke that was. I end up buying more colors and soon needed maybe 7 more, then said okay now I know I don't need any more. Well I am up to something like 50 so have learned to never say never, LOL!

    Thanks,
