    Default Modifying Jig Molds??

I would like to modify a few cavities of my current jig molds to allow for placement of the 7 strand braided wires to make some weedless heads. I have access to a machine shop, would this be something easy to do or am I better off looking into buying a mold just for that purpose?

I think NightProwler did that to one of his molds you could check with him.

Insert sizes are tricky. I have molds modified at a shop here and its cheeper to buy the mold if they have what you want. I just modify the stuff mold companies don't.

Don't work with one you can't afford to lose, the mod might not come out like you want. Worth a try if you have the tools and the smarts.
