Sure is fun to tie a jig...take it out to the bayou...and catch fish with it the same day!

Do I tie jigs to support my fishing habit...or fish to support my jig tying habit...?

Good looking jig and congrats on the catch with it fresh out of the vise. I took a few on Monday and even used a cane pole to catch some. Worked well until I hooked a slab and broke my cane pole. they are just not as tough as the ones I used as a kid. Great feeling catching fish on a jig that you paint and tie yourself.

Gator, I like it! With your C.c shirt on, it looks like a reflection.... kinda cool!
I got a question for you. I like to tie new one's right before going out myself. Do you find the crappie care if you use head cement or not? I just wanted to see if other guys are getting the same results.

Nice crappie and color that works well for sure. I don't know anyone around me here that doesn't fish black and chart.

Gator Just can't go wrong with that color. Like that pattern a cross between a crappie jig and a woolie bugger. Maybe Crappie Bogger would be a good a good name for it.
