    Default Twisted Marabou

I decided to use twisted marabou on this jig instead of chenille. The rib is heavy gold wire.

If you wrap the wire the opposite direction as the marabou, it will hold the marabou in place much better.

Nice looking jig. I was shown how to tie a Dragonfly larvae fly with a twisted maribou body, really neat technique.

I do one really close to yours Skeet. I found a fly that I tried to make into a jig and it is called Red Eye Damsel.
I am glad you guys reminded me of this one sine I have not looked at it in several years. May need to do some other colors.

Those are both nice work guys. I'll dig out the one I have and post a pic of it. My list of things to tie for my self is getting longer day by day.

    Default Dragonfly nymph

This is the one that the master tyer in Cabela's in St Charles, MO. for me. Black bead chain eyes, and peacock herl for the head. This guy had been tying flies and fly fishing for over 30 years and was sharp in both technique and teaching skills. I asked a question about the completed fly on display and he said"you do it like this", and gave it to me when he was finished. I have all the stuff, just need to do it one day.
