I spilled some powder paint on my carpet. It's probably a couple of tablespoons worth. It's the white Harbor Freight PP, so I still have enough to last approximately the rest of my life.

I remember reading somewhere not to vacuum powder paint, since it can go through the vacuum filter and get into the motor. I swept up what I could with a broom and dustpan, but there's still a large white area on my beige carpet. I spilled a smaller amount on the arm of a chair once and it eventually faded without cleanup as the paint wore off. Can I expect the same to happen with the carpet?
