Just a vent here...

A few years back I bought around 200 jigs with stick on eyes. Apparently the person who made them did not apply sealant over the eyes, because within a few months they started coming off. By then it was too late to ask for a refund, and I got tired of one-eyed jigs and disembodied eyes floating around in the tackle box. I took them out and tossed them in a box in storage. Recently I was going through the box and found them again. After scraping the remains of the eyes off and soaking the goo off in rubbing alcohol, I decided to fit them with 3D molded eyes.

I like the look, but those damn things take WAY longer to apply than paint. First you have to get them off the sheet, and they always release when you least expect it. I was scraping them off with my thumbnail until I lost a couple when they went flying off to god knows where. Then you have to position them on the side of the jig head. Not easy for eyes that measure 3mm in diameter. Finally you have to apply sealant to make sure they stay stuck.

This is the last time I order jigs with eye sockets.
