Look what followed me home from Cabela's...

Started trying some heavier steelhead jigs recently, and my basic vise didn't hold the hook as securely as I liked when yanking hard on the Kevlar thread. Cabela's always sends me a bunch of coupons around this time of the year, so I went shopping for a vise. I wanted to check out the Griffin, but they didn't have any in stock, so I picked up a Danvise.
So far I like it, and it fits perfectly in the pedestal that came with my kit vise. It might be made mostly out of resin, but this thing sure can hold a hook, and I don't need to adjust the jaws for any of the hooks I tie.
Good thing I didn't come into this hobby expecting to save any money, cause so far it's been a bust. Rofl
Don't worry, catch crappie.
