Anyone know a good source for a lot of pink deer hair? I have some patterns I want to tie and need a bunch to spin. All I can find is little 2"x2" or 2.5"x2.5" square pieces and I will likely go through a dozen of them before I get spinning right.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

If you don't find what you need by this weekend let me know and I can get or tell you where to get some that is , but I would need to make a order big enough to order from this place and that I think $75 or something like that. they have 2 1/2 X 12 1/2" or even some by the sq. foot? Or even by the pound.
I am pretty sure they have hot pink, not sure about other shades.
PM me if you want to do something with me. I am out of here for tonight though.

Not bucktail, I need the actual belly hair. Bucktail doesn't spin very well, it works but it is hard to keep from cutting it off.
I think my cousin got a pink one last year, had to make sure that it had enough points under it's foofy hat. He had a hard time keeping the things tutu from getting too bloody. Rofl
Even if I can just get a nice big patch of plain I can bleech it and then dye it I guess. Dying it is easy but never bleeched deer hair. Guess my cousin should have asked that pink deer for pointers before quartering it. Doh

Deer season starts in a month or so. Find a butcher shop that process deer and you can have all you want... usually for FREE!
