I use a candle, never had any issues. When it comes out of the powder if it still looks to have some on it place an inch or 2 above the flame til it glosses over. I bend paper clips to where i can hang a jig head from the eye in it, and to where it fits the rack in the oven to hang. Works well. Heat 175 for 9 minutes. Coneheads are from getting too much paint on there most of the time.

I just use a candle. Once I dip them in the paint I put back over the heat to get the coat just right. Nothing like doing it yourself.

Skip hope you get to feelin better, I use a heat gun...yes its loud...but 1000-1 1000-2 1000-3 spinning from one side to the other then dip and tap and hang it...I even sometime need to count on the dip into the powder...1000-1 must tap the head , depending on who's powder and how it acts. I use a hemo-stat to hold. hope this helps!!!
