    Default A New Jig

Here is one that I tied up. It is the first attempt at a picture post. If it doesn't work out. I am sorry about this as I am new to the picture post thing.

I believe it will catch them Redman. I guess the only things I do a bit different is I make another wrap at the head unless you want the thread to show just a little and then I may even use red thread to make a shot at a gills look. I usually don't go quite that far back on the hook shank either, but I just tied a guy a bunch on a regular bend hook which has even a longer shank before the bend and the one he wanted required it to go all the way to the bend.

Nice job and like I said, it will catch crappie for sure.

Looks good with the red chenille in the body, nice work with the two colors and posting the pic.

Love it bc that is all time winningest combo in a pit I fish. Never incorporated the red though. May steal that one from you! Green goblin chenille?
Now we can expect MORE pics since you got it down pat!

Thanks Guys for all the good comments on the jig. The picture was a trial and I know that I can do better. The lighting was off and so were some of the settings on my camera.

I was afraid that the picture wouldn't show on the post so it was a big step in the right direction. This old geezer might still be able to learn a few things yet.
