    Default Wapsi Pearl Chenille

First time I ever tried this kind of chenille and I think I like it. Going to have to look around for some other colors.

It's a lot like Cactus and other chenille that look much alike, like Estaz. Some time it is just a different name for the same material and different companies just have their own name for it.
A fried came up here last weekend and only fished about 4 hours each day and just killed the crappie on one of my 1/32 Oz Black/Red/Chart and it was Cactus chenille he was using. He had his girl friend fishing with him and a fried of his and his girl fished in another boat, 2 days, 4 hours per day and they caught 276 Crappie and most were from 1# to 1.4# fish. Said it was his best fishing days ever and he's a guide from over near Austin. I think just his second time on this lake and never got more than about 200 yards from the marina.

    Nice looking jig Len!

I have a few of the colors I use fishing in the Estaz which is similar. I like to use it twisted with another chenille as contrast with that extra flash. By itself, I think it looks good if you trim and taper it when you're done tying.
