Pearl,Estaz,Cactus,Tinsel..
This post is related to my Wapsi Pearl Chenille post.I just purchased some of the Pearl Chenille and naturally it was wrapped on the cardbord causing some of the fibers to be mashed down.I have taken the chenille off the cardbord and put it back in the plastic bag. My question... is there a way to straighten these fibers out? I know for the other types of chenille you can use steam but I don't think it would work on the mylar types of chenille. Thanks,Len

I don't know since they are Mylar fibers I doubt that heat would be a good thing. I would try just getting them pointing the right direction when wrapping it on the hook. All it would cost is a bit of time if they don't work out and you could just start over. I would think fishing them them may help if you can tie that part by pulling it back as you wrap.
I hate the carded stuff of all kinds and wish they would use something else.
