    Is there a way to reuse the hooks from bad pours? I have several oops!Rofl

    Sure, just take a pair of plyers and slowly dip the jig head in the hot lead till it comes off and quickly wipe off excess with a rag. Thats what I do.

    You can use a heat gun . takes a little longer but better for the hook.

    I take a pair of diagonal cutters, small ones for electronic work, and trim it off. That doesn't remove the color on the red hooks. It's not fast but I do things a little different anyway.

    I do the same thing but usually wait till I have a bunch to do. I then stick them in a pie pan and go to work. I cut off right in front of the hook first, then make my next cut along the inside of the shaft. The rest should peel away. You'll get the idea within a few minutes of what works best for you.
