Question Tying jigs with weed guards

Has anyone tried tying with weed guard hooks?...I use both the multiple fibers & single fiber weed guards......It would be great if someone does make a jig like this..

Don .... Grousefly will tie, on a weedless jighead Thumbs Up (he just doesn't care to have to, because it's more time consuming & tedious Doh Rofl )

Not only is it a lot more time consuming you can't cure the paint per Mfg. spec's. Most of the powder paints guys don't cure them hot enough as that have changed some over the last few years. I had to stop using my small toaster oven to try and control the heat better. Example FL Red hits the magic number at 400 degrees and I was having trouble with it on my little kip tail jigs. When I would tie them and trim the excess at the head with a double edge razor blade it was actually cutting the paint so it would chip a small spot so I called CSI and they said you have to hit that 400 degrees to hit the magic temp to get the hardest finish. Only needs 10 minutes of that, but it's a lot better when you do that. With a weed guard I don't think plastic will hold up.

Also if you cure it at a lower temp for longer time, they say longer time will make the paint a darker color too.

    Default Weedless Jigs

Here are a few different weedless jig style I pour and tie. They work great in Heavy Brush!

Why wouldn't you glue in the weed guard AFTER you paint, cure, and tie them? For painting, you'd just need to plug the hole with something wouldn't you?

Maybe I am missing something, but what ever you plug it with would have to take the heat of the oven and then after it's cured you would have to pull it out which I would think it would be stuck in pretty good as if cured right that paint is hard as can be. If it's not that hard it's not cured right and then how would you pull it out without taking paint off? The paint would be covering the head and what ever kind of plug you used.

However I may have an idea that would work, but need to check it out how this new stuff I have would be with plastic, but I think maybe it would work without a hole for the weed guard.

Been thinking about this since this post. I do have some stuff I bought not long ago and have not used yet. I didn't buy it for this, but it may work really well, but need to test.

Maybe some type of metal wire? Just not sure about pulling it and not taking paint off.
