    Default I am back

The Redman has been on a long journey for the last three weeks. Had to travel to his home state of Iowa to visit his mother. Now am back to start to terrorize the moderators and try to add bits of wisdom for the rest.

It feels really good to be back home and to sleep in my own bed and eat good Texas cooking again.Still haven;t got to a package of crappie that I put back for this occasion. Wife is glad to have me back again and the dogs are even happier.

Glad to see you back. I was worried about you when I didn't get a reply back on my last email. Hope your wife is doing better and better.

Thanks for the welcome backs. Yes I sure missed home after the first three days. I visited my son and he had to show me his University's " GREEN CAMPUS ". We had to walk about five miles to anywhere he wanted to show me. I did manage to talk him into taking me to a BBQ restaurant so I could half way good meal. Then on to my mothers and good old bland cooking. If that wasn't bad enough the restaurants that I took her to know only two spices, salt and pepper. They had heard of Tabasco but not Tony's. The best part was a night of corn bread and spun honey now that was tasty. Brought three tubs of it back and the TSA searched my baggage but did let it pass.

My brother in law had a cook out at his place memorial day and I sure enough got full. Smoked sausage, Brisket and Boudin with all the fixins. I figure I will gain back all the weight I lost in the next few days.

Again Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated glad I was missed.
