That's a great thing you guys are doing. Not only taking 'em fishing...but showing them how to make theyre own jigs to catch 'em with.

Revtoby That class taught by JB Salters should be a great experience for all who attend. Wish that I could be a fly on the wall for that one. I am sure that all who contributed material are now seeing the fruits of there labor. Look at all those very young men who will some day take our places on this board and will deliver wit and wisdom and become tomorrows mentors.

Jig tying is in much better shape today because of this. Congrads!!!!!!

We do it twice a month. We teach them casting, fish ID , jig/fly tying, teqniques , how to build and maintain worm beds, cooking an cleaning fish.... Pretty much all aspects of fishing. We put on two fishing rodeos, salt and fresh water. The hunting portion begins I august. When they graduate they they get a free hunt at land o lakes deer and hog ranch. This spawned from me and a leader in my church being convicted that we hunted and fished all year and were not sharing our love for The outdoors with the next generation. I thank God and give Him the Glory for allowing us to do something like this.
