Thanks...I made the skirt out of synthetics, and no I didn't paint it. Several older guys that tie for a living helped me out with showing me how to make vertical striping with certain permanent markers. And they definitely catch fish, swims just like a minnow and fish can feel the vibrations.

I use "Sharpie" permanent markers when I want to add Perch stripes to my jigs too. Nice job
