    Default Pouring lead indoors

You fine fellas in the south have it made when it comes to having weather to pour outside, almost all year long. I and many others in the north do not. I was tired of waiting all winter to find a few days here and there when I could get full use of the garage, but the wind had to be right and no rain in the forecast and so forth. Furthermore why pour when it's nice out? Those are days I should be on the water.

So I finally put together a setup that will let me pour indoors. The fan pulls 160 cfm so it should have no problem removing the vapors.

How much did your exhaust system run you? Did you buy it like that or did you have to build part of it. I'm interested because I plan to do the same thing.

I think I spent about $85 on it when it was all said and done. Didn't buy it like that, I had to build the entire thing.

Box fan in a window- $15. If your hand-pouring it's really all you need. Try ZeinersBassShop for molds and pointers on how to use them.
